We had great weather in P-town this weekend. I was looking at my closet this morning and thought it'd be good to put some of the heavier stuff in storage and put some fresh spring pieces out and back in the closet. Um... I found nothing fresh. Everything looked so... boring. I feel like now that I am in my early 30's I should really invest in a few very well made pieces that will last me through the decade. I didn't have any of those... So I moved on to my shoe rack in our other storage room. Nothing seemed to match the beautiful weather outside in there either.

So what did I do? I went shopping. I honestly can say that I don't enjoy it as much as I used to, and most of my shopping is done on-line these days anyway. With less than 2 hrs spent at the stores, first at Saks (btw the P-town store is consolidating/closing come July this summer) and then at the Rack, I came home with 6 pairs of new shoes. Yikes, went a little overboard but the prices made sense and of the 6, two were on my wishlist. As soon as I got home, I lined them up in the very front of my shoe rack so I can see them first thing when I open the door. Oh the Spring has come.

이달의 Buy: Longchamp Eiffel Tower Duffle

when i find something i like i tend to use it 'til it breaks. my green Goyard St. Louis tote is no exception. it's coming apart now and i needed a back up. so in search of a replacement tote as big as my st. louis i found this one from Longchamp. i also took advantage of the F&F promotion @ Saks so with less than 1/10 of what i paid for the old one, i scored this cute little Parisian tote (limited edition too) that will soon be my everyday carryall. *last month's buy didnt' turn out to be so great. i will still use it for my trips though.

A good friend just moved to NY to work for Eugenia Kim as their seasonal intern. i think the company has great potential and hope he does well.

altho i would never pay over $25 for a hat (only b/c i know what it takes to produce one), I could see myself wearing this fedora from Target. It's the latest deisgner collaboration that they're launching this weekend. Hmm, now that I think about it, my other Fedora is also from Target too. Perfect for this Spring.

I've had my sewing machine for over 3 years now but haven't really had any luck with making it work. Well, it works fine but it's more of an operator error. Hubs bought it for me as a bday gift because I have a million ideas of what I can do with it but I don't think that I know how to thread the needle. Pathtic yea? I know. But wait, I've just signed up for a class over at Modern Domestic in Alberta Dist so I'll be skipping work that day to join the domestic divas to become one myself. Oh the possibilities...
