3 Things I found on Etsy

I found these adorable items on Etsy for a friend's upcoming baby shower. I am going with blue + orange theme. I love all the talent and the level of craftsmanship I find on Etsy I swear I could spend an entire day just looking and admiring all the handmade stuff.

Design within our Reach

We are in the process of building our first home on west hills and have been busy picking out designs for various parts of the house. While this is the most exciting part of the whole process we are feeling a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of different choices out there. I had no idea I had to choose between 5 cm/7cm fiber length for carpeting. Honestly I'd rather have the experts do that for us and just make us buy what they've picked . To help alleviate the stress we are feeling I have been reverting back to some of the images I've collected over the years in anticipation of this exact event. It's helped quite a bit so far and my hope is that we'll be able to create ours as beautiful as these.

내가 살고있는 포트랜드의 여름은 완벽의 가깝다. 그리 덥지도 않고 춥지도 않은 구름한점 없는 파란하늘이 7월초부터 9월초까지 계속 된다. 단지 너무 짧다는게 흠이지만...
남편과 나는 여름 시작 땡부터 지금까지 매주 하이킹, 자전거 타기, 바베큐 파티를 즐기며 행복한 나날을 보내고 있다. 일년에 서너번은 갔던 여행은 못가지만 쉬지않고 정말 많이도 놀러다니고 있다.
그래서 그런지 컴퓨터앞에 앉아있는 시간은 없어지고 그 덕분에 쇼핑은 물론 개인 이멜체크도 제대로 안하고 있다. 아 그래도 요즘 트윗의 재미에 푹빠져 열심히 쫒아다닌고 있는중.

일년에 한번 꼭 하는 Nordstrom Anniversary 세일 광풍때 벼르고 벼르다 산 버버리 트렌치를 사진을 올린다. 코튼이네 폴리네 말이 많았지만 내가 아는 터키공장에서 Synthetic 으로 만든 네이비 트렌치를 햇볕 가득한 요즘 사놓고 흐믓해 하고 있는 중이다. 가격은 $500불 조금 더 준거같다. 살림하는 아줌마로써 쉽지않았지만 클래식 라인보다는 가격이 좋았고 아마 그 세일이라는 함정에 나도 빠지지 않았을까. 당분간 쇼핑은 아마 못할듯. 키가 작다면 페팃 싸이즈로 오더하는것이 좋을듯 하다.
이 짧고 달콤한 여름이 가고 긴 우기가 돌아올때 매일 입고 다니지 않을까하는 생각이...
