지난 주에는 남편이 목요일 월차를 내고 그 틈을 타 나까지 덩달아 하루를 쉬었다. 느지막히 일어나 모닝쇼를 보며 여유로이 커피도 마시고 남들이 다 일하는 시간 한가로운 하루를 맞이했다. 오랜만에 런치 데이트를 즐기려 23가 파파 하이든에 12시가 조금 넘은 시간 도착했다.

토마토 쥬스 한잔과 커피를 시키고 음식을 기다리는 동안 꽉차인 레스토랑을 보고 우리둘은 저 사람들은 일 안하고 뭐하는 사람들일까 상상해보며 수다를 떨었다. 그리고 조금 헤비한 메뉴를 골랐는데... 오마이 마이, 정말 내가 먹어본 파에야 중 최고로 맛났다. 냄피 바닦이 보이게 싹싹 긁어 먹고 난후 서로에게 감탄하며 너무너무 맛있게 먹고 나왔다. 가끔식 농땡이 치는거도 나쁘지 않을걸?

My one and only compact digital camera broke two weeks ago and I've been looking for a replacement ever since. The last one is an old Canon that my MIL gave me as a gift before we got married so it was over 3 years old. A lot of my friends own DSLRs that take great pictures but I am not willing to pay that much just yet and don't like the idea of carrying around a bulky object with me. After a few hours of searching on-line and reading reviews I found one that I really like. They say it's simple enough even techphobes like me can operate it. Hmm, I really like it.

Stripey Tees

Stripe Tees are everywhere these days. I mean everywhere... There are at least a million different versions too. Maybe not quite that much but close. I've been wearing Splendid's S/S crewneck practically every other day and noticed the other day that it's beginning to look a little worn out. I have another one though that I don't wear as often but found a few anyway on-line.

places we've visited + loved: clyde common

i am giving them 3 stars. it's situated btwn kenny + zuke's & jake's grill with open kitchen and shared seating. Great energy and vibe for sure. i went after work with my colleague who is visiting from Singapore. On her recommendation I ordered the monk fish off of their dinner menu but it turned out to be a bit too bland for me and the fish was too tough. i loved the ambiance and the casualness of the restaurant though. i just wish the food would have been better. i don't do seafood that often and it might have been just that this time so i would give them another try. i will go for their steak next time.

my new kicks

i think the last time i bought *nice* kicks was 2 year ago when i needed a new pair of comfy shoes to walk around in while we visited Seoul. Personally, of all the designs that they put out, Air Max is my favorite one.

thinking about felt cloud and rain drop theme for a baby shower coming up soon. i wanted to make felt mobiles and found these on etsy. these are handmade by etsy seller leptitpapillion. i want to "try" making my own tho. i better get to it fast.

블로그를 하면서 느낀건데 가끔 블로거들이 자기들의 아이디어를 누가 카피했다고 속상하다며 글을 올릴때가 있다. 개인적인 생각이다. 누가 오리지널인지는 잘 모른다. 내가 그 사람의 블로그에서 보기 훨씬전에 다른곳에서 본 아이디어들이 우연히 겹치는 경우도 있고 비슷하지만 다른것도 많다. 어차피 다들 좋은 아이디어를 나누는 공간인데... 남에게 뭐라하기 전에 자기부터 먼저 되돌아 볼수 있기를...
